‘Miss Julie’ (2025) is a short film that explores the true experience of artist Julie May’s broken arm in 2024, following a series of whimsical scenes during a period of healing. Directed by Sky Li, the film was a spontaneous summer project that overlaps creative skills including story telling, observation, experimentation and more. While the arm remains slightly crooked, the film narrates the idea that perhaps time is nature’s best way of healing any pain or dismay, lightening the experience of forgetting a past.
